| CVE-2024-7387 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 9.1 Critical |
| A flaw was found in openshift/builder. This vulnerability allows command injection via path traversal, where a malicious user can execute arbitrary commands on the OpenShift node running the builder container. When using the “Docker” strategy, executable files inside the privileged build container can be overridden using the `spec.source.secrets.secret.destinationDir` attribute of the `BuildConfig` definition. An attacker running code in a privileged container could escalate their permissions on the node running the container. | ||||
| CVE-2024-6508 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 8 High |
| An insufficient entropy vulnerability was found in the Openshift Console. In the authorization code type and implicit grant type, the OAuth2 protocol is vulnerable to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack if the state parameter is used inefficiently. This flaw allows logging into the victim’s current application account using a third-party account without any restrictions. | ||||
| CVE-2024-45496 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 9.9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in OpenShift. This issue occurs due to the misuse of elevated privileges in the OpenShift Container Platform's build process. During the build initialization step, the git-clone container is run with a privileged security context, allowing unrestricted access to the node. An attacker with developer-level access can provide a crafted .gitconfig file containing commands executed during the cloning process, leading to arbitrary command execution on the worker node. An attacker running code in a privileged container could escalate their permissions on the node running the container. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0650 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in the Open Virtual Network (OVN). Specially crafted UDP packets may bypass egress access control lists (ACLs) in OVN installations configured with a logical switch with DNS records set on it and if the same switch has any egress ACLs configured. This issue can lead to unauthorized access to virtual machines and containers running on the OVN network. | ||||
| CVE-2024-5037 | 1 Redhat | 4 Logging, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2025-08-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in OpenShift's Telemeter. If certain conditions are in place, an attacker can use a forged token to bypass the issue ("iss") check during JSON web token (JWT) authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2024-3154 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 7.2 High |
| A flaw was found in cri-o, where an arbitrary systemd property can be injected via a Pod annotation. Any user who can create a pod with an arbitrary annotation may perform an arbitrary action on the host system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1725 | 1 Redhat | 6 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform, Openshift Container Platform For Arm64 and 3 more | 2025-08-27 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the kubevirt-csi component of OpenShift Virtualization's Hosted Control Plane (HCP). This issue could allow an authenticated attacker to gain access to the root HCP worker node's volume by creating a custom Persistent Volume that matches the name of a worker node. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1485 | 2 Devfile, Redhat | 4 Registry-support, Ocp Tools, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-08-27 | 8 High |
| A flaw was found in the decompression function of registry-support. This issue can be triggered if an unauthenticated remote attacker tricks a user into parsing a devfile which uses the `parent` or `plugin` keywords. This could download a malicious archive and cause the cleanup process to overwrite or delete files outside of the archive, which should not be allowed. | ||||
| CVE-2023-6596 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-27 | 7.5 High |
| An incomplete fix was shipped for the Rapid Reset (CVE-2023-44487/CVE-2023-39325) vulnerability for an OpenShift Containers. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5351 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-08-22 | 4.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the key export functionality of libssh. The issue occurs in the internal function responsible for converting cryptographic keys into serialized formats. During error handling, a memory structure is freed but not cleared, leading to a potential double free issue if an additional failure occurs later in the function. This condition may result in heap corruption or application instability in low-memory scenarios, posing a risk to system reliability where key export operations are performed. | ||||
| CVE-2020-27223 | 6 Apache, Debian, Eclipse and 3 more | 22 Nifi, Solr, Spark and 19 more | 2025-08-20 | 5.2 Medium |
| In Eclipse Jetty 9.4.6.v20170531 to 9.4.36.v20210114 (inclusive), 10.0.0, and 11.0.0 when Jetty handles a request containing multiple Accept headers with a large number of “quality” (i.e. q) parameters, the server may enter a denial of service (DoS) state due to high CPU usage processing those quality values, resulting in minutes of CPU time exhausted processing those quality values. | ||||
| CVE-2023-40694 | 2 Ibm, Redhat | 2 Watson Cp4d Data Stores, Openshift | 2025-08-20 | 6.2 Medium |

| IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container 11.4, 11.5, 11.6, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system by sending a specially crafted request. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5449 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-08-14 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the SFTP server message decoding logic of libssh. The issue occurs due to an incorrect packet length check that allows an integer overflow when handling large payload sizes on 32-bit systems. This issue leads to failed memory allocation and causes the server process to crash, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2022-43916 | 2 Ibm, Redhat | 2 App Connect Enterprise Certified Container, Openshift | 2025-08-13 | 6.8 Medium |
| IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container 7.1, 7.2, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 10.0, 10.1, 11.0, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, 11.6, 12.0, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, and 12.7 Pods do not restrict network egress for Pods that are used for internal infrastructure. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0620 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Samba | 2025-08-13 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Samba. The smbd service daemon does not pick up group membership changes when re-authenticating an expired SMB session. This issue can expose file shares until clients disconnect and then connect again. | ||||
| CVE-2024-7128 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift console. Several endpoints in the application use the authHandler() and authHandlerWithUser() middleware functions. When the default authentication provider ("openShiftAuth") is set, these functions do not perform any authentication checks, relying instead on the targeted service to handle authentication and authorization. This issue leads to various degrees of data exposure due to a lack of proper credential verification. | ||||
| CVE-2025-1125 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-08-12 | 6.7 Medium |
| When reading data from a hfs filesystem, grub's hfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem metadata to calculate the internal buffers size, however it misses to properly check for integer overflows. A maliciouly crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculation to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result the hfsplus_open_compressed_real() function will write past of the internal buffer length. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections. | ||||
